The small and friendly village of Celle dei Puccini, where very little has changed over the generations, is the ideal location for discerning Italian holiday seekers .
Set in the hills of Lucca among the olive groves and grape vines, Celle is the unspolit ancestral home of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. The Puccini musuem and local restarant are great assets to the village.
Our holiday homes are located overlooking the village, giving uninterrupted views over the Tuscan rooftops with the forested valley and hills beyond. Each property has been lovingly restored in the traditional Tuscan style by local craftsmen. There is a good size heated swimming pool with ample of space for relaxation and sunbathing.
This part of Tuscany with its stunning scenery has much to offer for all ages. The hills of Lucca, Pescaglia and the magnificent Garfagnana region is right on the doorstep. The Apuane mountains and National Park are all areas of great beauty and are of particular interest to walkers, trekkers and explorers.
The cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa are all within easy reach.
The Tuscan people and their way of life is very appealing and it is understandable why so many return to Tuscany to recharge.
Celle is a peaceful place totally unspoiled. It retains its slow tempo and traditional way of life.
It has been home to generations of Italian families who still cultivate the surrounding land, making wine and olive oil in the traditional way. There are approx. 30 inhabitants in Celle and like so many Tuscan settlements, clings to the side of a hill overlooking the valley.
