Go-Tuscan.co.uk, a website to promote privately owned and managed self catering accommodation for rent in the village of Celle dei Puccini, near the walled city of Lucca.

Celle is a peaceful place totally unspoiled. It retains its low tempo and traditional way of life. It has been home to generations of Italian families who will cultivate the surrounding land, making wine and olive oil in the traditional way. There are approximately 30 inhabitants in Celle and like so many Tuscan settlements, clings to the side of a hill overlooking the valley. This property was the first built in the village (1594). It is believed to have once been a convent.

The properties are set at the top of the village of Celle dei Puccini, where generations of this famous family have been inspired to compose their music. The views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking with olive groves and vineyards on the terraced landscape and the impressive games of light, a particular treasure of Tuscany.

There are 5 self contained properties, 4 of which are intimately linked to form part of one single structure. Each property has its own features and has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen to include all the modern day appliances while maintaining the traditional Tuscan charm. There is a fascinating mixture of high ceilings, original floors, chestnut beams and stone fireplaces for those choosing a winter break. The thick walls and the shutters keep the properties cool in the heat of the day. Full central heating ensures a comfortable stay during the cooler months.

There are safes in each property, hairdryers in all the bedrooms and put u up beds suitable for children on request. We provide a starter pack of essential items to save you having to buy in bulk when only staying for a short time. A list is available on request. We, the owners (Ken and Gill) are on site during most of the summer period to assist you in any way possible to make the most your time in Italy.
